After graduating from Lancaster University in 1991, I obtained a PGCE from Thames Polytechnic and spent the early to mid-90’s lecturing in Maths and IT. After leaving full-time teaching, I embarked on a career IT Training, although continued Maths tuition on a one-to-one basis.

Whilst still available to run the occasional Excel course from time to time, there’s nothing quite as rewarding as working with young mathematicians, so I’m now devoting the majority of my time to tutoring maths.

I’ve been married to the long suffering GLW for several decades, and have two grown-up children.
